And now looking at your page I notice that you're interested in heathenry as well. :3

Do you practice seidr or any form of seid or witchcraft?

No. Not even close. Witchcraft, magic, the runes, galdr, etc have no part in my heathenry...as of yet. In fact I wouldn't even deign to call myself heathen. I'm getting there though. Headed the reconstructionist route. I may eventually add a sprinkling of something more esoteric to my practice, but right NOW I'm more focused on nailing down the more theological aspects as opposed to the praxis. Like how to conceptualize the gods/ goddesses, what virtues/ ideals should I hold, and ultimately, how to BE heathen.

It's just a personal thing, but I need that somewhat nailed down, and as I'm sure you've come to realize, there's not exactly ONE answer to anything in heathenry haha. Like the saying goes "put four heathens in a room with a question, and you'll get five answers" :P

How about you?

I started out Wiccan three years ago. It started when I was depressed with life and went out into my woods and asked the wights and geists and gods what I should do, and felt this warm rush, this extreme amount of power and love. An actual practicing Wiccan, not some poser btw. My original pantheon and worldview was more Celtic, but I could only attach myself to the goddesses...the gods of the Celtic (Irish Celtic) pantheon are so distant feeling even though I'm primarily of Irish decent. After being in a coven in my first year of college (as I was tutored by one of the older members of it) I felt that they were all manipulative and I left the coven. That spring was depressing as hell as I was living on my own and everyone abandoned me. But thats when I came into contact with Odin. I'm bipolar and I've always considered myself a berserker, because that's what its like. So for two years I've been devoted mainly to Odin, and I feel he's chosen me. I haven't chosen him. I read the Eddas much, and I have an altar to Odin and I try to live by the ethics and worldview of one 'asa tru'. Though, unlike others I still keep some Celtic and Wiccan aspects. And because of this, I primarily use seidr and witchcraft in my spiritual practice.

And one of the most primary two ideals for Heathenism is to be truthful and to not just speak, but act. Those two things I apply in my life more than anything and it makes life a lot enjoyable and meaningful. :]
